Regular visitors to our humble site may remember that we’ve been rambling on about a ‘web series’ that we’ve been working on for a while. So after chiseling at our metaphorical marble for several months, sitting on these pieces till they’re all warm and toasty and grooming them till they’re shiny enough to see the world, the RediscoverSG crew presents to you— Unseen/Unsaid, a 10-part mini series.
Unseen/Unsaid tells ten short Singapore stories through the personification of almost forgotten everyday trades and places. Through this series, we invite viewers to see the beauty of what we have in Singapore that we take for granted today; trades and places that may very well no longer be around a decade or two from now when we retell these stories to our children.
We hope that Unseen/Unsaid will help to (re)awaken in Singaporeans, both locally and abroad, that spark of fondness for the place they call home, and to embrace the otherwise often under appreciated things in life.
Each episode in the Unsaid/Unseen series runs for approximately 3 minutes each and will kick off with a media launch on 28 June 2011. They will go live online on 29 June 2011 and will air one episode weekly.
For more information or enquiries regarding the series/launch, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll have more exciting information about the series in the weeks to come, so watch out for it!
